Significance: This study suggests, for the first time, that Ursolic acid, by decreasing the expression of its target gene, it may increase the expression of 15-hydroxyprostaglandin dehydrogenase (15-PGDH/HPGD). Thereby, it may inhibit cancer progression. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “Ursolic acid or its analogues”  can be used to inhibit the progression of human tumors

Undisclosed information: How Ursolic acid increases the expression of 15-hydroxyprostaglandin dehydrogenase (15-PGDH/HPGD)
