Citation: Boominathan, Natural product based cancer therapy: Garlic suppresses the expression Sema4c, epithelial-mesenchymal transition and chemotherapeutic resistance via up regulation of its target gene, 23/January/20145, 21.54, Genome-2-Bio-Medicine Discovery center (GBMD), http://genomediscovery.org
Significance: This study suggests, for the first time, that Garlic , by increasing the expression of its target gene, it may suppress the expression Sema4c, epithelial-mesenchymal transition and chemotherapeutic resistance. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “Garlic or small molecule compounds isolated from Garlic” may be used to inhibit the progression of human tumors.
