Significance:
This suggests, for the first time, that Vigna nakashimae extract, by decreasing the expression of its target gene, it may increase the expression of Growth hormone (GH). Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “Vigna nakashimae extract“ may be used to treat disorders associated with growth hormone deficiency, including dwarfism.
