Undisclosed information: A mechanistic insight into how N-arachidonoyl ethanolamine decreases glutathione levels, increases reactive oxygen species levels and inhibits cancer cell proliferation.

Significance:   The result  presented here suggests that N-arachidonoyl ethanolamine, by decreasing the expression of its target gene, it may decrease glutathione levels, increase reactive oxygen species levels and inhibit cancer cell proliferation. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing ” N-arachidonoyl ethanolamine or its analogues” can be used to treat cancer.
