Significance: This study suggests, for the first time, Nonivamide, by suppressing the expression of its target gene, it may decrease the expression of immortality gene telomerase. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “Nonivamide or its analouges” can be used to inhibit the progression of human tumors.
