Significance: This study suggests, for the first time, that DHA (Docosahexaenoic acid) may extend the lifespan of an individual by suppressing ADCY5/AC5 expression. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “DHA (Docosahexaenoic acid) or its analogues” may be used to extend the lifespan of an an individual.
Undisclosed information: How DHA (Docosahexaenoic acid) suppresses the expression of adenylate cyclase 5 (ADCY5)
