Citation: Boominathan, Natural product-based therapy for Metastatic tumors: Sulindac, an anti-inflammatory drug, increases the expression of tumor suppressor RECK via down regulation of its target gene, 2/March/2015, 8.51 am, Genome-2-Bio-Medicine Discovery center (GBMD), http://genomediscovery.org
Significance: This study suggests, for the first time, that Sulindac, by suppressing the expression of its target gene, it may increase the expression of RECK. Thereby, it may inhibit tumor progression. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “Sulindac or its analogues” may be used to inhibit the progression of tumors.
