Citation: Boominathan, Natural product-based therapy for p53-mutated human Cancers: Nonivamide increases the expression of tumor suppressor p53 homologue TAp63 via down regulation of its target gene, 2/March/2015, 9.17 am, Genome-2-Bio-Medicine Discovery center (GBMD), http://genomediscovery.org
Significance: This study suggests, for the first time, Nonivamide, by suppressing the expression of its target gene, it may increase the expression of TAp63. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “Nonivamide or its analouges” can be used to inhibit the progression of human tumors.
