Significance: This study suggests, for the first time, that Rhamnetin, by suppressing the expression of its target gene, it may decrease the expression of Low density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 6 and promote weight loss. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “Rhamnetin or its analogues“ may be used to promote weight loss.
