Citation: Boominathan, Regulation of NFKB signalling: Neurotensin suppresses the expression of TNFAIP3, the negative regulator of NFKB, via down regulation of its target gene, 27/February/2015, 23.22, Genome-2-Bio-Medicine Discovery center (GBMD), http://genomediscovery.org
Significance: This study suggests, for the first time, that Neurotensin, by decreasing the expression of its target gene, it may suppress the expression of TNFAIP3. Thereby, it may promote NFKB signalling and tumor progression. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “Neurotensin inhibitors” may be used in the treatment of cancers.
