Significance: This study suggests that TRIB2, by increasing the expression of its target gene, it may increase HDL-C levels. Thereby, it may decrease the chances of developing cardiovascular disorders. Thus, this study suggests that pharmacological formulations encompassing “TRIB2 or its activators” may be used to increase HDL-C levels.
