Significance: This study suggests that stress induced p53, by decreasing the levels of GlcNAc N-deacetylase/N-sulfotransferase-1, it may promote intellectual impairment and memory deficits. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “p53 inhibitor”may be used to treat stress-induced disorders, involving intellectual and memory impairment.
