Significance: This study suggests, for the first time, that Carvedilol, by increasing the expression of its target gene, it may suppress the expression of Arid2-IR. Thereby, it may decrease renal inflammation. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “Carvedilol or its analogues” may be used to treat renal inflammatory disease.
