Undisclosed information: A mechanistic insight into how 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D decreases the expression of ICMT-Rac1.

Significance:   The result  presented here suggests that 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D, by decreasing the expression of its target gene, it may decrease the expression of ICMT(isoprenylcysteine carboxyl methyltransferase)-Rac1. Thus, Physicians/Clinicians/Health care practitioners may consider treating their cancer patients with 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D.
