Significance:  This study suggests, for the first time, that Vitamin-E, by increasing the expression of its target gene, it may decrease the expression of Nocturnin, and promote weight loss.  Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “Vitamin-E or its analogues  may be used to promote weight loss.
