It has earlier been shown that Vitamin-C induces the expression of p73. Further, it has recently been shown that Vitamin C cures Tuberculosis. Here, GBMD Chief-Scientist Dr Boominathan Ph.D. identifies the mechanism through which Vitamin C inhibits Tuberculosis. His results reveal that Vitamin-C induced p73 inhibits Tuberculosis. This study may aid in the treatment of tuberculosis.
