- A study from the Cancer Science Institute of Singapore, National University of Singapore, Singapore has reported that: “A Role for RUNX3 in Inflammation-Induced Expression of IL23A in Gastric Epithelial Cells.”
- This study was published in the 9 July 2014 Cell Reports by Prof. Ito Y, Hor and others from the Cancer Science Institute of Singapore, National University of Singapore, Singapore.
- On the foundation of this interesting finding, Dr L Boominathan, Director-cum-chief Scientist of GBMD, reports here that: Insights into the treatment of Gastritis: TGF-β1 suppresses the expression of inflammation–induced IL-23A in Gastric epithelial cells. This study suggests that TGF-β1, by inducing the expression of its target gene, it could decrease the expression of inflammation-induced IL-23A.
