The study presented here suggests that tumor suppressor ING1b/p33, by increasing the expression of its target genes, it may decrease the expression of oncoprotein PDPN.
Thereby, it may inhibit proliferation, migration, invasion, and metastasis of cancer cells. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “ING1b/p33 activators” may be used to inhibit the progression of invasive tumors.
